  1.   DE 4DOS/NDOS Description Editor README

  4.   To install DE, simply copy DE.EXE and DE.HLP to any directory in your
  5.   path. The two files should be placed in the same directory, or DE
  6.   won't be able to find the help file. When you first run DE, it will
  7.   display a message indicating that it has not been configured yet, and
  8.   you will be placed in the configuration screen. Press ESCAPE to start
  9.   the program at this time if you do not yet want to configure DE.

  11.   If you need to change the name of the executable for any reason,
  12.   change the name of the help file, also. For example, if you rename
  13.   DE.EXE to 4DE.EXE, also rename DE.HLP to 4DE.HLP.

  15.   DE comes with a few predefined external filenames. These are not
  16.   required, they are only there for your convenience.

  18.   Once DE is running, you can get help at any time by pressing F1. All
  19.   documentation is included in the online help at this time.

  21.   If you need to change the default colors for any reason, once you run
  22.   DE, press Page-Down to go directly to the color configuration screen.
